In September, a meeting of the artificial intelligence developers system Care Mentor AI with representatives of Siemens Healthineers on the use of a neural network when working with German concern medical equipment took place.

The subject of negotiations was presentation of a new model of Siemens Helthineers interaction with AI systems and support for the adoption of diagnostic decisions, developed at the company's headquarters in Erlangen, Germany.

At this day more than 40 AI-related solutions are already involved in the clinical line of Siemens Healthineers equipment and are actively working in clinical practice. Siemens Healthineers has several models of cooperation with AI manufacturers, the best of which we have yet to choose for our relationship. Among other things, the company is interested in external integration, in which neural network products will be available as a ready-to-use external module. This kind of interaction requires AI developers to have a high level of reliability, convenience, and proven clinical effectiveness, as well as the availability of a developed technical support service.

In return, developers receive support from Siemens Healthineers in the development of the product at the first stage and its promotion in the future.

Care Mentor office was visited by Dr. Gunnar Krueger, Head of Research Cooperation with Key Partners in the Europe / Middle East / Africa Region, Svetlana Gerbel - Siemens Healthcare LLC CEO, Alexey Aspidov - Head of Development of Research Activities of Siemens Healthcare LLC and Pavel Olkhov, Head of the Private Client Relations Department, Russia, Central Asia, Belarus, Armenia, Azerbaijan.

From Care Mentor AI, the meeting was attended by Inna Moroz, Head of Business Development, and Dmitry Blinov, Head of Science Department. We thank Siemens Healthineers management for their interest and hope that this project will have a successful development.

Care Mentor AI together with the Lerner College of Medicine of Cleveland Clinic (USA) and the Institute of Neurobiology and Anatomical Sciences of the of Mississippi Medical Center launch scientific and educational collaborations to use the neural network as an assistant in evaluating the mastering of educational programs by students of international universities.

Results of the Care Mentor AI Congress of the International Anatomic Associations Congress in London
Care Mentor AI together with the Lerner College of Medicine of Cleveland Clinic (USA) and the Institute of Neurobiology and Anatomical Sciences of the of Mississippi Medical Center launch scientific and educational collaborations to use the neural network as an assistant in evaluating the mastering of educational programs by students of international universities.

Care Mentor AI took part in the 19th congress of the International Association of Specialists in the Field of Clinical Anatomy, which was held 9 - 11 of August in London.
The wide agenda included both topical issues of classical anatomy and current advances in molecular medicine and digital technologies.

The Assembly of the International Association in its final communiqué recognized the urgent need for modern challenges, increasing the importance of social media, wide possibilities of visualization and reconstruction of anatomical objects lead to the diversification of contemporary science and clinical medicine.

Of great interest was the presentation of the joint research conducted by Sechenov University scientific team and representatives of Care Mentor AI R&D unit.

The study aim was to explore the AI reliability in anatomical structures identification on radiographs and volumetric medical images. The use of neural network technologies in educational process was in sphere of scientific interest as well. Obtained data proved the high accuracy of the lungs and mediastinum pathological conditions AI classifier. The researchers emphasised promising results of the possibility of using Care Mentor AI labelling software for training undergraduates, monitoring the educational progress of postgraduates and medical clinics residents.

Sechenov University and Care Mentor AI scientific and educational cooperations with researchers from the USA, Great Britain, Australia, and Austria universities were kicked of at the Congress halls.
The rationale of future projects is to use the neural network as both an assistant and an independent expert in evaluation of the mastering of educational programs.

The main goal of participating in the International Congress of Anatomists in London is to present the scientific capabilities of our development, discuss the prospects for its use in the research process and training students of medical educational institutions.

Dmitry Blinov, Head of the CMAI Research Department, PhD in Medical Science, will deliver a report on "Care Mentor Artificial Intelligence as an effective assistant for a chest X-Ray interpretation" on August 10 in the section "Radiological and digital anatomy".

Artificial intelligence today is an extremely effective tool of scientific knowledge. It allows you to carry out complex analytical operations and manipulate virtually unlimited amounts of data at high speed. This is the combination of qualities that make neural networks indispensable in science and education. The goal of the Care Mentor AI network is that we have developed it not only to assist the radiologist to analyze lung radiographs. Bigger goal to be able to classify pathological changes in the chest organs at high accuracy, often superior to an experienced professional.

Our goals for participation are not limited to presentation of our achievements. We intend to:

1) Enter the E-Medical Education Expert Committee – the international team of Artificial Intelligence Decision Support System developers. Together we conduct joint scientific researches and plan to develop common standards for such systems in the global healthcare industry.

2) Organize international scientific collaborations to create neural network solutions for decoding MRI images and results of positron emission tomography.
